We offer a complete DISA seal kit (differentiated air intake system) for M43 M44 engines for various BMW models.
If you experience RPM drops, especially in the lower RPM range and during the cold start phase, if you hear a whistling sound coming from the engine compartment or if there are even several error codes in the engine control unit, this may be due to a worn out o-ring that is located inside the DISA unit.
This o-ring, which is actually intended to prevent air outside of the DISA unit from being sucked in, is usually not available at the car dealership. You can only buy the complete DISA unit, which then has another low quality o-ring installed.
Here you have option to purchase this high-quality replacement seal and to save a lot of money compared to the replacement of the entire DISA unit.
