We offer an insertion tool for the hydraulic line port seals used in various Mercedes models.
These seals are located inside the hydraulic line ports of the cylinders, the distributors, the valve blocks and the hydraulic pump (depending on the model) and consist of a uniquely shaped quad seal and a brass support ring to keep the seal in place. With this special insertion tool you can install the quad seal and the brass support ring at the correct insertion depth.
The insertion tool is made out of heat-treated 1.4034 / X46Cr13 / AISI 420C stainless tool steel that offers high hardness and very good wear and corrosion resistence. It is CNC-milled to our specifications within tolerance class DIN ISO 2768-1-f (fine) in Germany to ensure a high level of accuracy.
Attention: The old hydraulic line port seals must be removed with a special extraction tool (product number MJ10522) before the new seals can be installed. Please make sure to cover the entire surface of the new seal with a thin layer of hydraulic fluid before you insert it.
