We offer a complete DISA repair kit (intake manifold adjuster unit) for M54 3.0l engines for various BMW models.
In M54 engines, the DISA flap's very fragile plastic mounting can lead to engine damage if parts of the DISA unit enter the combustion chamber. The original parts are also very susceptible to wear due to their material (mainly plastic) and their double-sided rather than continuous mounting. A malfunctioning DISA unit quickly leads to power losses, as the optimal air supply can no longer be guaranteed depending on engine speed and load.
If your engine is equipped with a DISA adjuster unit, you might experience the following symptoms:
- loss of torque and power
- loud clicking noises
- suction noises
Here you have the option to replace the old, fragile plastic parts of the DISA unit with CNC-machined aluminum and steel parts, thus preventing engine damage. Replacing the plastic parts will restore the flap control to its original function, and installing the sealing ring will effectively prevent the intake of unwanted air.
Like almost all of our products, the parts in this repair kit, especially the milled parts made of aluminum and stainless steel, were manufactured entirely in Germany. The tolerances of the milled parts are within tolerance class DIN ISO 2768-1-m to ensure a high level of precision.
This repair kit includes the following parts:

1 x DISA indexing pin
1 x DISA screw
1 x retaining ring
1 x screw for removing the old indexing pin
1 x stainless steel wire
1 x 5g temperature-resistant grease with PTFE additives
1 x Viton o-ring
